The fifteenth day of Advent

Cat in the hat decided that he wanted to play with the boys' trains last night.  When the boys woke up they were very excited and started to play with the trains and the cat in the hat.  We had lots of fun this morning because we got to talk to John's family really quick before we had to leave to go to Little N's school for his Christmas party.
Little N's kindergarten Christmas program was absolutely crazy.  I have no idea how the staff and the teachers do it all.  They had SO much to do and they did a great job.  They had 10 areas where the kids could do activities to win stickers in order to get a present from Santa.  Thankfully you only had to go to 6 stickers so the boys went around doing different activities and at first we weren't exactly sure what we were doing but gradually listening to people speaking in Chinese and then just comparing notes with people who spoke English we figured out the various activities that the boys did - Mary riding on the donkey, the three wise men riding on a camel (have to ride on the parents), the sheep getting a ride back from being lost, making a gingerbread house, the angels singing and some more activities that I just wasn't exactly sure what it was about.  Little N's school was packed with people and the school was VERY well organized making sure that there were lines and things went smoothly.   It was a great event and I was very impressed at how much my boys have grown in the last year.
The boys had a blast making their gingerbread houses which unfortunately fell apart once we put it in their bags.
Little N's teachers  and a couple of the events they did.
They had lots of fun doing the various activities.  Little N and Little M were very excited to meet Santa and Little H just wasn't sure what was going on.

This evening we got a snack ready and had a family movie night.  We watched a Veggie Tales Video and the boys loved the video.  It was fun watching the video and the kids reaction and just spending it as a family.
We had a very special treat to eat while we were watching the movie.

Our Scripture verse for today was from Isaiah 53:2 – He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
