A trip up to Taipei

After moving and cleaning our apartment we decided to take a day trip up to Taipei.  It was the third time that I (Caristy) had been up to Taipei but the first time to go sight seeing and seeing the city.  We went to the Taipei Zoo.  Wow it was one of the last days of Chinese New Year vacation so in the morning it was kind slow but as we were leaving the zoo it was VERY busy.  While we were at the zoo we kind of felt like we were part of the zoo, the little boys got lots of attention and people taking their pictures.

After the zoo we went to the Taiwan handicraft promotion center and then Chiang Kai-shek Cultural Center. Wow, the Chaing Kai-shek cultural center is a very gorgeous area to walk around.  We had lots of fun exploring but we were really tired at the end of the day.
