Bible Study Group

We are very blessed to be a part of a bible study group.  It's a family bible study and it just reminds me of my childhood when my parents had a family bible study and the adults would study and the kids would play together.  It has been helpful for our family to be getting together with friends and studying the Bible together.     Having people to share prayer requests, study the bible and be friends with has been wonderful.

Little H is 8 months

Little H is 8 months....unfortunately I have been bad at taking pictures on her actual month birthday. She is getting bigger, she is doing the army crawls to get around the room.  She likes to eat, she plays with her brothers, still doesn't sleep through the night. Time is flying and I just want her to stop growing up and be my little baby girl. She is my favorite little girl!
Because every time I take pictures of Little H....I end up having to take pictures of Little N (if he's around) and Little M. Love these guys!

Ultimate Frisbee & flower market fun

Whenever it works out in John's schedule he tries to go play Ultimate Frisbee! He has a blast playing & usually comes home complaining about how sore he is! Which I take to mean that he had a good time! Today we watched them play which was hard because both little boys wanted to play with their dad! After the game we got some food & watched people ride the electric cars! Great day!!

A busy day!

We had a busy day today: Little N had to get his stitches out, we had a birthday party to attend and then we went to a Mid-Autumn festival in our community.
Little N getting his stitches out.
Happy Birthday to two sweet little girls. We celbrated I & J's birthday!!

Then at our community there was a big community type carnival in our courtyard. It was so many people in the courtyard with street fair food, balloons, games and music!  It was a fun day!

More outdoor fun

Do you like Little H's face!  She has started to get into trouble...pulling herself up on things to try and stand on stuff.  Unfortunately she is not the steadiest on her feet so she has a tendency to fall.  The other day her face met at bookshelf and gave her a nice cut on her face.  Hopefully this won't be a sign of things to come.  Oh dear my little adventurous one!
In our apartment complex is a community area.....we have a pool area, two playgrounds, some grass space, etc.  We like it and there is a little bit of space for the kids to run around and ride their bikes to get off some excess energy!  Except for when your oldest child has Stitches and you are afraid he is going to split them up again.  Thankfully nothing happened except for excess energy being burnt off -- no injuries happened today!

Hanging with friends and Little N's adventure!

We were invited for some fun times with some of our friends.  We hung out and then went to play in their community pool.  Sadly Little N was goofing off and fell and split his chin up!  So we had to go and get stitches.  Thankfully everything worked out great and we had no problems going to the hospital and we didn't have to wait that long to be seen.  The Dr. did a great job stitching up his chin!  Now just to keep Little N calm so he doesn't hurt it again!  The adventures of a boy!
 Ready to go swimming!

After a long day playing Little H was exhausted and fell asleep in daddy's arms!

Little N's First day of School

Little N missed three weeks of school being in America and then not starting right away when we got back from the US, so today was his first day of school.  He was in a new classroom, with new teachers and thankfully a bunch of his old classmates.  He was so excited about going to school and just talked about all the fun things he was going to do at school.  I'm hoping that this excitement lasts.

 With one of his classmates!
Little M was a little sad to leave Little N at school!
I'm pretty sure that grandma and grandpa did not think that the backpacks they got their grandsons would be used as a mode of transportation.  Where is Little H.....she blends in with her car seat!

Our time on the airplane!

Flying with three kids is never easy but we can do it.  We've got it down to a science....when we fly out of CT we ask if we can have my mom help us through security and to the gate which helps us out immensely because then we have three adults which can help during that first part with bathrooms, playing with kids, tears, and just being together before we leave.  Then we get on the plane and that seems to thankfully go okay.  However because we were delayed in CT we arrived later than expected in Detroit and had to RACE to catch our flight to Tokyo.  As we were getting off the airplane we heard them announce final boarding for Tokyo, we were in one terminal and our flight was in the other terminal.  So we ran as fast as we could....thankfully John had the boys in the double stroller and I had Little H and I was trying to run as fast as I could with her to make it to our next gate.  We got to our gate, I walked into the jet way and burst into tears so thankful that we made our flight and didn't have to stay over night in Detroit.  Made through security in Tokyo no problems and had no problems in Taipei just had to get our 9 suitcases, 5 backpacks, strollers, kids and us out to meet whoever was meeting us.  Thankfully we had wonderful friends pick us up and we were so thankful that we didn't have to worry about how we were going to get home.
A little sleepy and teary eyed so glad we made our flight!
