I haven't been to the Farm Coffee in probably over a year. Our playgroup met at the restaurant and played. We had an enjoyable time eating the food, playing outside and watching the animals.

I wanted to go to a unique area that had a space like pods but John told me that it was torn down right before we came here. But he found me a park in Hsinchu that has all these strange statues. Little M and H were fast asleep in the car so John stayed with them while Little N and I did a quick exploration of the park. I think we were there for 10 minutes and decided it was time to go back because Little N wanted to show daddy everything. We will have to go back and explore the area.
Who knew that the statue of Liberty was also in Taiwan? Not I!
We saw a praying mantis and I was freaking out but also wanted to take pictures of the bug.

I had the best of intentions to try to get pictures ready for the monthly challenge with my clickin moms. The challenge for the month was ugly/beautiful. We drove around Hsinchu trying to find things that were ugly and at the same time beautiful.
We saw some beautiful birds that played in some old rice fields.

We have tried to get back into the habit of going to Chinese Sunday school. I think when we are really busy we tend to skip the Chinese Sunday School. Recently the boys have been requesting that we take them up to Chinese Sunday school so I'll bring them up and stay with them during the singing time and then pick them up after they are finished. They enjoy their time at sunday school, which makes me happy!

A friend introduced me to the HUGE traditional market close to my house. We walked around and my friend introduced me to all her favorite vendors (which I most likely won't use because I don't speak Chinese) but it was good experience and reminded me that I need to go to the markets more often because fresh fruits and veggies are better at the traditional market (and cheaper) than the grocery store. I need to take more pictures of the market because it is such a unique experience.
In the afternoon my friend had her daughter baptized. It was such a special afternoon and I was glad I could celebrate with my friend.

We discovered that we are able to watch Little N swim lesson and then help him get dressed and dry his hair. The things you learn, when your son is very annoyed with you that you never come help in his classroom. Little N is doing well in swim class but I feel bad for his teachers because teaching at least 40 students in the water would be hard work.
That evening we enjoyed H's choir concert. We enjoyed listening to them sing.

The boys really wanted to play in the sand and because yesterday they didn't get to play in the sand we decided to go to our beach. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and water.
We watched the setting sun and played a little bit before we lost the light completely.

We went to Nanliao to our picnic area. We thought we would let the kids play in the sand playground but discovered that they paved the sand playground and gave a new playground. We instead had fun walking around and watching a guy fish.
Then the kids found a puddle that they needed to jump and play in. They had so much fun!
Poor baby girl, she is so abused and absolutely loves it!

We met at Big City to let the kids play in the ball pit. Run off some energy and have fun. I think all of that was accomplished.
I absolutely love Little H's outfit. It reminds me of an outfit I had when I was a little girl. She looks so cute it in her little sailor dress.

We took a walk around our community with the little kids...we are trying to get in better shape. So walking around talking and exercising together we hope will accomplish getting healthier and feeling better about ourselves. On our walk we saw this little snail and I was reminded of the story of the tortoise and the hare. Keep on going and you can accomplish what you set out to do.

My mom asked John to pick up some flowers for me in honor of my birthday. He picked up some roses for me that were absolutely stunning. I loved looking at them, taking pictures of them and then drying them out. I hoping that they don't mold over here in Taiwan.
