Miaoli - International Arts Festival

We were invited this today to go to the International Arts Festival with friends.  What we were told was that there was rides for the kids and there would be fireworks that we could watch later on in the evening.  When we got to Miaoli County and the area that the fireworks were at we noticed that it was basically a huge carnival like atmosphere   We took the kids on the Ferris Wheel (which took about an hour of waiting in a line) and then we let the kids ride on the trains as many times as they wanted to.  They had a blast playing with their friends.  When it was dark enough we watched them shoot off fireworks.  It was an awesome day and just a very fun experience.
This is what we saw as soon as we got into the area.  The first thing the boys wanted to go on was the Ferris Wheel.  Sadly this ride you stood in line longer than you were actually on the ride.  You only went around once before you were let off.
The picture of the people circling around is the back of the line for the Ferris wheel.  It was crazy how long the line was.  There was not much of a line for the train ride though so the kids went on that some!
Little N loves to be able to hold his sister and snuggle with her.
I had SO much fun taking this picture.  I put the camera on a tripod and then put a high f stop and a slow shutter speed.  I love how it looks like it is going so fast when it really wasn't!
I love this picture too of the fireworks.  I will definitely go back to this International Arts Festival if it is close to us so that I can have more fun talking pictures of fireworks and different carnival type equipment.
