The thirteenth day of Advent

This morning the boys weren't sure where the cat in the hat was until John went into the shoe closet to get Little N's shoes for school.  Then we found the Cat in the Hat he was hiding in the shoe closet.

While the two younger kids were at home and they were playing in the playroom and it was just a little bit to quiet so I went into check on them and found that Little H had gotten into the play dough and had started eating it.  It makes for cute moments but also very messy moments also.

 

Today's activity was making sugar cookies.  John had never made sugar cookies before and wanted to make Christmas cookies for youth group.  So Caristy made the dough and then we all made cookies together for the youth group.  Little N loves having the activities and asks me often what we are doing after school.

Today's scripture verse was Isaiah 9:6 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
