About Us
We are a family of 5 who live in Taiwan. We are adjusting from being a rural family to an urban family! Join us as we navigate through this journey of living overseas and how we are adjusting. This is our story!!
John
He is a husband, dad, the English pastor, he does it all. We love him dearly and are so appreciative of all he does. He is trying to figure out what his role is while being over in Taiwan and is doing a great job doing it!

She's a wife, mom and still trying to figure out what her role is with her husband's ministry.
Little N
He's a son and brother. Little N is 9 years old! He protects his younger brother....loves little legos. He loves to read - in English. He can read some Chinese but it's not his favorite thing to do. This year we just switched from going to a Chinese elementary school to homeschooling full time. We aren't sure how this is going to look and how it's going to work but we have been doing it and it's going well. The next thing we need to work on is making friends and being with friends. Trying to make friends when your first language is English and you are in the process of learning a second language is never an easy situation. Every day is an adventure. I am very proud of him! He is just very curious about everything that the world has to offer.
Little M
He is a son & a brother. Little M is 7 years old! He loves his older brother. He's in the process of learning how to speak in both English and Chinese and is getting better every day -- every day he learns new words and sentences. He has started attending Chinese Elementary School and doing English homeschooling. He loves cars and anything that his brother likes to play with! He's my smiley and sometimes devious son! He is very curious about everything the world has to offer and is willing to explore.
Little H
Is our little sweetie. She is 4 years old, she has captured the hearts of our whole family. We love her, this year she has started attending the same Chinese Kindergarten that her brothers have attended. The teachers have been waiting for her to be old enough to attend the school because they have been able to watch her grow up since her brothers have been there for 4 1/2 years. She is spunky and has learned to speak of for herself and let her opinion be known. She loves to play with dolls, barbies and of course her brothers.
Life doesn't always do what you expect and we are excited to see what life has in store for us!! Please keep up with us as we figure out what we are supposed to do in this world! Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging but we try to always catch up so just bear with us as we keep our blog updated!
