The fourth day of Advent

This morning the Cat in the Hat decided that it would be fun to get out some of Little M's big Legos and play with them.  Little M was a little annoyed with the Cat  in the Hat because his toys were out and then Little H started eating his toys.  Little N was convinced that Little M took the Cat in the Hat out of his bed and brought him out into the living room.

It was a busy day - we went to playgroup, hunted for pine cones  picked up Little N from school and then because the boys wanted to go on an adventure we went to the park to play and run around, then we went grocery shopping.  When we got home the boys made chocolate chip cookies and then we worked on our next advent calendar activity - which was making cards.  So we used our finger tips and made some Christmas lights that we connected together with a black marker.  The boys had fun getting messy and dirty.

We had so much fun climbing and playing on the playground equipment.  Little H learned how to climb up steps and she was so proud of herself.

 Making cookies with daddy is a lot easier when we have an area we can do set up on.

 We made I think 15 cards that we will be mailing off to people hopefully soon!  

 Today's scripture verse which Little N was quite adamant that he had to take down from the chain is found in Matthew 1:23 – The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel – which means, “God with us.”
