We are safe!

With all the news about the huge earthquake just off the coast of Japan and then concerns of the tsunami.  I just thought I would let you know that we are safe.  We had warnings about the tsunami early yesterday evening but that was for the other side of the island.  The tsunami didn't even reach Taiwan which we are very thankful for.  Thank you for the prayers and concerns but we are safe.  We have drizzly rain today but I'm not sure if that was because of the tsunami or just because that was part of the weather forecast! 

Please pray for the country of Japan and more specifically Sendai.  We have lots of friends who live in that city and we are concerned about their safety.  Please pray for them we know that one of our friends, the Bengtson, are all home safe (but without power) and we have heard from a couple other people that we know but we are praying for the safety of those living in Sendai.  Pray for them as they are dealing with aftershocks and being without electricity for a while especially with freezing cold temperatures.  Pray for just open hearts after this horribly devastation so that the missionaries & other Christians in the area can minister to scared and hurt people.
