Alien Registration

Since coming over to Taiwan we have mostly been in a fog (from of course jetlag and the newness of everything).  We have also been frantically trying to make sure we have everything for our ARC.  We needed our paperwork, picture, make sure more of our paperwork was in order (with Chinese translation -- God Bless our part time secretary because she has been dealing with alot of these things with John!) Today we went to the place to get our ARC gave all the paperwork & pictures to them and he asked us do we have a place we are staying here?  So THANKFULLY we had just signed the contract to the apartment we are living in and brought that with!! They were generous enough to allow me to take some pictures of the process.  Only one sort of turned out!! We now have the paperwork filled out and going through the correct channels and we should be able to pick up our cards in 2 weeks and that will be a good thing because then we only have to carry that around and not our passports. Which will be a relief!!
