Hanging out on the river and cooking over an open fire

John wanted to go to the river to go jumping off rocks and playing in the river.  He also wanted to build a fire and have dinner over an open flame.  We really had a lot of fun and we were so thankful to be able to throw rocks, jump off "cliffs" and just climb on rocks this afternoon.  We had a blast.  I know that John really enjoyed cooking over an open flame.  I think that's one of the things he misses the most about living here in Taiwan - the ability to have bonfires and grilling during the summer time.
