Hualian - TMF Women's Retreat - Day 1

TMF - Taiwan Missionary Fellowship every year has a Women's retreat.  This year our retreat was in Hualian, which is located on the eastern side of the island.  The eastern side of the island is my favorite area to go and visit.  The mountains drop down to the ocean and the water is so beautiful, with gorgeous turqoius blue water.  

Six ladies traveled together by train from Hsinchu to Hualian.  We enjoyed our conversations on the train and just hoped and prayed that it wouldn't rain the whole time we were at the retreat.  It was raining when we left Hsinchu and by the time we got to Hualian it wasn't raining just overcast.  We had someone come pick us up from the train station and take us to our hotel and then we walked from our hotel to find the ocean.  It was beautiful and I was so thankful we had the chance to just walk around and explore.
