Pretty

My new lens came this week.  I've enjoyed playing with it and figuring out what it can and can not do.  It's different then anything I've ever had.  I've always had a variable aperture (so it could be 3.5 at 35 mm but 5.6 at 80 mm) and now I have a fixed aperture so that means that if I set it at 2.8 it will stay at 2.8 even if I change my mm.)  Today I took a picture of pretty flowers and my ring....just to see how it would do with rings and close ups.  I think it did pretty well.....there is OWNER operator error in some of the pictures but that's not the lens fault. :-)
