Day 2

We left Minnesota and went to Clarion, IA.....we went to visit John's grandpa. It was wonderful seeing him. We got there and it was both a really good visit and sad. Grandpa kept on getting teared eyed as he watched and visited with us because he realized that Grandma was missing all this.....which is so hard to see grandpa struggling with missing grandma and just realizing all the things that were being missed. But it was SO funny to watch Grandpa trying to get the boys to look at the camera and smile. I have a progression of pictures where Grandpa is making different expressions trying to get everyone to smile. It was great visiting with him. We left IA and thankfully that day we made it through IA, IL, IN, & we made our stop in Ohio. We just couldn't go anymore! The boys are still doing well.....Little M has a hard time sitting in the car. He'll get really bored and start screaming and crying so that makes it a little hard. But we are able to calm him down.
