Pastors & Wives Retreat

We had made the right choice of driving the night before because the whole state of ND had closed roads and travel advisers all over the place the whole time we were in Minot for the Pastor's and Wives Retreat. (I know that I wrote weekend but for a Pastor sometimes Monday through Wednesday can feel like a weekend especially we were on a retreat!) We had Joel and Barb as our speakers for the weekend and it was just a refreshing time. Got to hang out at the pool, listen to Joel and Barb, play games, talk to other pastors and wives. Also got to see Tractors and Farm equipment inside the mall. (I love the fact that the mall is connected to the hotel so we could walk to the food court and eat and walk around the mall.) Little N loved the fact that there was a little play area with a slide that he could go down and climb up all by himself. (He figured out that it was easier to go down the slide backwards.) All in all it was a great weekend.
